Disillusioned and Underwhelmed

By you, you, you and you.
By your shitty websites providing shitty content
By your constant persecution of the people who should be heroes
By your constant dismissal of things you don't understand
By Politicians who claim to understand the plight of the people but specialize in nothing but disappointing.
By supermarkets who collude to shortchange customers.
By corporations and billionaires who want to rake in profits without paying any tax. (Phil Green, I'm looking at you.)
By a system that is conducive for white collar criminals but aims to make the most out of petty criminals
By governments promising private prison companies 90% occupancy rate

I'm in a phase where my world view is shaped to a large extent by Julian Assange and Russell Brand.

Mr Brand is a more articulate man than I am so if/when you have time, watch the video below and see how he sums up some flaws of the political system

Mr Assange might come across as a narcissist but when you do all the things he has done, you earn the right to do as you please. The easiest thing in the world is to talk. (I'm guilty of this too). The difficult thing is to put yourself where it matters most and make some form of sacrifice. And that is what Mr Assange did with Wikileaks. He sees accountability as central to democracy and he used himself and Wikileaks as a platform to ensure this. The fearlessness is admirable.

I point this out as a form of mitigation for my tone and mood.  Or maybe, I'm just getting older and worldly.

P.S
I'm sorry I haven't been posting anything here. I have been writing over the last couple of months ( I'm not uninspired or suffering from loss of talent) but I'm working on something I look forward to sharing with you very soon. I'm really excited about it and hope it pleases you when it comes. Thanks for your continued support.
